Monkeys

·         Today I’ll be writing about monkeys. I think monkeys are probably one of the most interesting animals ever. I think they are so interesting because studies say that monkeys are one of the closest relatives to the human being on this earth. Monkeys also have thumbs. I think that’s very odd because monkeys have opposable thumbs as do humans. Monkeys and humans are the only creatures in the world that can physically pick up objects with our thumbs, now that cool! A myth about monkeys s that monkeys are in love with bananas! But personally I have never seen a monkey eat a banana, but I’m pretty sure at least one monkey has. I think it’s funny how people supposedly say that monkeys throw their poop. To me that’s disgusting even thinking about poop being thrown at me because the smell of nasty, squishy poop will make me throw up my guts! But even though they throw poop and pee on each other, I still think they are the cutest animals ever! They were my favorite animal when I was little because they were the closest animal to humans. I think when I get older I might actually buy a monkey now that I think about it !!! 

Sugar Gliders

Today I’ll be writing about Sugar Gliders. Have you ever seen a Sugar Glider? They are very unique, odd, and amazing creatures. Most people say they look like rats, some people say they look like squirrels. For starters, there are many different types of sugar gliders. There are brown, black, black and white, white etc. furred ones. I think the cutest ones are the black and white ones. They range in between 150-1000 of dollars. It all depends on which breeder you buy them from and which type of sugar glider it is. Sugar gliders are also nocturnal, which means they sleep all day and is awake all night. I have two sugar gliders. Their names are Jasmine, and Nico.

Sugar gliders are a big responsibility to take care of. They eat fruit, nuts, sugar glider food, yogurt, meat etc. There is a lot of food that they cannot have though, for ex. Chocolate and onions. If a sugar glider were to have a piece of chocolate or onion, it would immediately kill them. The reason why sugar gliders are called sugar GLIDER, is because between the legs and the arms of the sugar glider, there is access skin that stretches out when they jump; which makes them glide. Sugar gliders love to sleep in small areas, for ex. your shirt, purse, shoe etc. They are adorable pets,  you should totality get one!

Cats < Dogs

Happy Friday everyone! Today I am going to be writing about my opinion on cats. For starters, I absolutely HATE cats. I hate the way they purr, I hate the way that they pace back and forth rubbing their fur all over you, I hate that annoying “meow” noise, I hate everything. As a child, I use to love cats. I don’t know what happened? I guess I woke up one day and decided that I didn’t like them anymore. I had a cat named Orange when I was growing up. She was a calico cat (orange, white, black, and grey colored fur). Orange would always manage to get balls or fur all over my clothes, I also HATE cat fur. It annoyed me so much I wouldn’t hold Orange in my arms anymore. Dog fur doesn’t bother me, just cats. I think it’s weird how they use the restroom in a box. Like no? That stinks and takes up room. Why won’t cats just go outside and use the restroom? Just doesn’t make sense to me. Kittens are cute, but once they get older and bigger, I’m not so fond of them. One cool thing about cats though, is they have amazing balance and they always tend to land on their feet. That’s awesome!

Daschund Weiner Dog

Hi everyone! Today I’ll be writing about Daschund Weiner Dogs. I’m writing about this specific dog today because the Daschund Weiner Dog is one of my most favorite dogs out there. I had one once upon a time, his name was Elmer. Elmer was one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever had. He never growled, bit, or scratched anyone. My family and I picked Elmer out because he was the runt of the pack. He was so little and quiet. I personally thought he was one of the most unique dogs ever. He had one blue eye and one brown eye. When it was dinner time, Elmer would stand on his two back feet until he got a bite, I would always give into that. My mom made my sister and I give Elmer away because we never got a chance to potty train him. We had to give Elmer away to another family who treats him very well. His new owners trained Elmer to race. Elmer just recently won second place in a Weiner Dog race. I’m very proud of him, and I miss him dearly. I’d give anything to see that dog again. If you ever get a chance to love for a Daschund Weiner Dog, take the chance! You won’t regret it.

Pit Bulls

Good after noon blogger world! Today I’m going to be talking about Pit bulls. Have you ever actually met a Pit Bull that has been properly trained since it was a puppy? I feel like more than half the world thinks that Pit Bulls are mean. I believe that any dog can be mean if you treat it bad right? I’m pretty sure if I grew up abused I’d be mean too. Pit Bulls used to be considered as baby sitter dogs. They would watch over the children and protect them. Just the other day, I met a Pit Bull named Chuck. Chuck was probably one of the nicest, caring dogs I’ve ever met! But I’ve also met many mean Pit Bulls too. It all depends by the way you treat them. They are faithful dogs who care for their masters with all their heart, but if you treat them wrong, they won’t forget. They will show you what you deserve for treating them wrong. Pit bulls are also used for fighting. Who would do that to their dog? It disgusts me to even think of putting an animal in pain just for entertainment. Most people use Pit Bulls for fighting because they are strong dogs, and won’t stop until someone’s hurt. Now that’s just horrible!

Welcome to my blog, my name is Taylor. The theme of my blog is about animal facts. I'm in Health Tech and my home school is Oak Hills High School. My interests are of course animals (preferably small animals), hanging out with my friends, going to the movies, partying, etc.  What grinds my gears is when people judge me. I believe that if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it at all. I hate liars because honesty is very valuable to me. “You can spend a life time building up your trust, but once it’s broken, it’s gone forever", is one of my favorite quotes. I don’t believe in violence; violence does not solve anything. I don’t understand how some people could ever abuse an animal, animals are helpless and innocent. Yes, they may chew up your shoes and pee on your carpet but that’s only because they are not trained. Your pets look up to you, you’re their home. Other animals like gorillas, cheetahs, lions, polar bears, any wild animal are being killed for their fur. Some of the most beautiful animals in the world are going to become extinct because people want to wear their fur as clothes.  I hope you enjoy my blogs about animals!
